News on Wealdstone Town Centre Scheme Works

The planned Town Centre Improvement scheme gets underway today 8 March.

A409 George Gange Way is temporarily closed for 8 -12 weeks. Road closures and diversions will be in place. Delays are expected, so please plan alternative routes around the town centre.

As a reminder - during the works:

• All main road traffic will be diverted via Palmerston Road and the High Street. This applies to both northbound and southbound traffic approaching the town centre on the A409.

• Town centre car parks remain open but can only be accessed via the High Street towards Gladstone Way.

• Buses H9 and H10 will be temporarily diverted, so will not stop at Wealdstone Centre during this phase of the works.
